TCN Rules and Guidelines

TCN: The Cauldron Network is a social Network for members of The Cauldron: A Pagan Forum, a large community of Pagans and their friends established online in 1998. Members of The Cauldron are welcome to create accounts here -- all accounts have to be approved by a staff member to reduce the number of "spam link accounts." Note: You must be an active member of The Cauldron's message board and enter your message board name correctly in your profile or your application will be declined. The normal Cauldron Community Rules and Policies are also in force here as are all of TC's other rules and guidelines and the Ning Terms of Service.

Advertising is forbidden here just as it is eslewhere in The Cauldron. This including spamming links in your profile or in a signature. Spammers will have their accounts and all content deleted.

Katje - That's both rare and a treat for me, too! I'm guessing the word was "specious", because everything else is either readily parse-able from its component parts, or a slang term (also parse-able from components) that I wouldn't expect to be ab…

Not Not Moderating

I should add that I am set up to receive individual emails if anyone comments on any of the groups I moderate. If there is something inflammatory on there, I'll come in and lay the smack down. I feel like the odds of this actually happen are close to nil. These groups are pretty quiet and are populated by mature adults.

But you never know, I guess.

I'm just letting you know I'm not abandoning anyone.

Taking a break

I've realized that I am spending more time on TC talking about my religion than I am actually studying it and practicing it. This is sort of defeating the purpose. As much as I love you guys, I need to take a break and re-focus.

I doubt it will be much longer than a few weeks but I just thought I'd let you know in case anyone responds to one of my posts and wonders why I don't respond.

I'm emailable if anyone really, really, really needs to reach me but I can't imagine any issue so pressing th… Continue

The Nail Polish Devotional

(This idea comes from something Jenett once posted. So thanks to her :))

The other night, after doing the first decent manicure for ages, I looked at an especially deep blue shiny bottle of enamel I've had for ever.

Deep blue is my Lady's color and I decided to do my nails in this color.

Almost automatically, with each nail I painted, there came an affirmation out of my mouth.
'Dana is my Lady'
'Dana is my Mother'
'Dana is there for me'

I was a little bit surprised.
But the effect is great.… Continue

B. B. King

Went to visit the sisters and we went and saw B. B. King. We were right up next to the stage and it was AWESOME!

And one of my seasonal goals done - new shirts for work, yay!

Can you tell me...

what is wrong with me?
Do I stink? Do I have the plague?

I try to get another job.
Really.

I did not apply on dozens of jobs, only the ones I'd really care - I already have a job I do not like, so I want to change this.

Co-workers do the same, at least they get to get an interview.

My qualifications are ok, it can't be that. Only things I can think of is:
a) age, I'm 39
b) I still have a job, meaning, they would have to wait for me about 4-8 weeks to start
c) I got the call-center stamp on t… Continue
